This heritage home sits atop the Niagara escarpment with beautiful views of the surrounding area. The homeowners required more space and an updated style and Nauta Home Designs provided a design which fit both their lifestyle and the natural setting, while honouring the heritage of the existing home and property.

This quaint home is located in historic Niagara-on-the-Lake and features all of the charm of the area. The homeowners were looking to improve the layout and space while keeping the style of the existing home intact. Our makeover renewed the exterior and renovated the interior, resulting in a beautiful home that fits right into Niagara-on-the-Lake’s appealing neighbourhoods.

Niagara is home to innumerable late twentieth century brick bungalows just like the before photo shown here. New homeowners have taken to renovating and adding on to these bungalows to transform them into stylish updated homes. This home now includes a large second storey master retreat complete with an ensuite and two additional bedrooms. The first floor was redesigned to create an open concept kitchen/dining/great room; perfect for entertaining family and friends.

A typical suburban two storey, this Hamilton home needed an update to set it apart. By adding a large upper deck onto the front and left sides of the home, redesigning the interior, and giving the exterior a more current look; this home was transformed.

This cottage home is located on the shores of Lake Erie in Port Colborne, Ontario. It was designed with a focus on stylish, yet relaxed family living. Originally, an old and outdated cottage stood on this very spot; it was torn down, leaving only the foundation. Nauta Home Designs created a custom home design using the existing foundation for reference and the home was later built by Tucker Construction.

This Niagara on the Lake farmhouse was in need of updating. A new mudroom and garage on the right side let us transform the existing garage into usuable living space. Meanwhile an addition on the 2nd floor took advantage of vineyard views.
